Abstract

The importance of foreign direct investments for growth in transition economies is significant. Foreign direct investments provide new technologies, increase of export, better firm's management, faster economic growth and development. However, in order to attract foreign direct investment it is necessary to provide institutional assumptions. In my work I will analyze the institutional assumptions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and offer specific recommendations for improvement .
